Color Challenge Mondays

I absolutely adore color challenges and don't see them around often enough. So, I'll post a color challenge each Monday (I know it's still Sunday) that I can come up with one. If you'd like to play along, I'd love for you to link your creation to the challenge post. I'll periodically put the names of those who played along in a hat to draw for a little blog candy. I made a card this afternoon that will be a sample for the first challenge. Color challenge #1 is turqouise, deep red, maize, and olive. I'd love to see what you come up with or just hear that you gave it a shot. Thanks for stopping in.

I used a retired SU set for this card called Flores Misticas. I stamped on basic grey printed paper with versafine & distress inks. I colored in a bit with tombow markers and grabbed some rickrack from my stash. The ribbon slide is a cuttle bug diecut and the letters are from EK success.

Wow what a great card! You always have me running to the LSS for paper for these color challenges! I will have to see what I can come up with in the morning!

Love the new banner too...DH did a great job on it!
