Happy Birthday Sweetie

Today is my hubby's birthday and I haven't seen him all day. He had to stay down the hill last night because of this storm. I sure hope he makes it home tonight after work. Kyle and I have been working the snow blower and shovel overtime to clear out a parking place for him if he makes it. So this is his card. (I hope you aren't peeking at it, honey.) The gifts are wrapped and the cake is in the oven.

Here's a bit of what it looks like around here today:

This is the view out of my craft room sliding glass door. The snow drifted high.

Here's Kyle working hard at the piles of snow that keep coming down.

And finally, Mom is in a real hospital room as of last night. They are still battling to get her kidneys working and her red blood cells are really low, so she is taking new meds to get those up hoping she doesn't need a transfusion. It seems when one part of the body gets wonky, it all goes wonky. I'm still breathing.

Wow that it a lot of snow, no wonder your hubby had to stay down the hill Lots of snowblowing and shovelling for you and Kyle.
Hope now your Mom has a hospital bed that all of her health issues are sorted out.

What the heck is all that white stuff? MAMA MIA!! What a load of snow!

I don't know how you are able to stay at home this long without going out because of the weather. It would make me insane...well, the jury is still out on that one.

Glad to hear the news about your mom being in a room now and I hope the medication works! Happy thought to you and your family!

Happy birthday hubby! Your card is really nice. I love the layout and how you added a lot of details while still keeping it man-friendly.

Hope your hubby got home in time to see the fabulous card you made and taste the cake we all could smell from your description baking in the oven. YUMMY! WOW Kyle is tall! He's grown since the last photo I think I saw.

Have fun with the snow. Looks much the same here.

Thinking of you and your mom continues to be in my thoughts and prayers.
