The post office makes me crazy.  Seriously.  I packaged up my beautiful finished Graphic 45 project with loads of bubble wrap, paid over $10 to get it there super speedy with delivery confirmation.  I mailed it first thing on Friday morning.  I've been checking everyday to see where it is.  It was in Portland, OR yesterday morning and that's where it's supposed to be delivered.  So, I'm thinking good it will be delivered today.  I check this afternoon and guess where it is?  You'll never guess.  It's been sent to Vancouver, WA and this is the message they give me:

"Your item was misrouted.  the error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible.  Information if available, is updated periodically throughout the day.  Please check again later."

They had it in the right city and then sent it to a whole other state. And they wonder why the post office is losing money.  I knew I should've used UPS or Fed Ex.  Dang.

Oh gosh Tami!!!! You must be so darn upset!

OH my.. Our local PO rides my nerve.. constantly...
Too many stories to tell. One of my 'favorites' is the time the PO lady would not open the office door, because it was five minutes until lunch and she closed.. for 1 1/2 hours, and I live 7 miles away! There I sat.. pissed.. on the phone with her, telling her she was keeping my son's birthday gift hostage! I paid next day to get it and they had already left a 'come get' note the day before in my mailbox because they would not drive down the driveway!!!!

I have had boxes stuffed into our mailbox because the driver did not want to take the time to drive down our driveway... and always it's precious scrappy papers!

I have rec'd a package from France...5 months late!

UPS is so much better, and you can track it.. and Actually get what you pay for!

Grrrrrrrrr..

Tami I feel your frustration as I have had similar issues with using the postal service (or total lack of). I will keep my fingers crossed that your package arrives in time to it's proper destination. Happy creating...

Grrr...that last dude's comment was not helpful at this moment...and please tell him I said so :-)
THIS is a serious matter. We do pay plenty for priority service and we do deserve to get our packages delivery on time. OH Tami my heart aches with you!! Keep us posted!
