My sweet hubby just showed me a link to some art classes in October. Dick Blick is sponsoring an expo in Pasadena, CA that looks like alot of fun. I'm interested in the collage class, the prisma class, and a silk painting class. I don't know which I'll be able to attend, but there are also free demos. Has anybody been to one of these before? I see they had one in DC and one in Chicago earlier this year.
We are checking out alot of art classes since he wants to take some print making courses, but we haven't found any yet on this side of the country. Please share any great classes you've found in CA. Thanks.

I'm an avid crafter. I buy new and used goodies, and sometimes I get goodies for free. I'm a brand ambassador for Fiskars and attend CHA regularly. Part of what I post on my blog was made with things given to me through my affiliations or directly from manufacturers including Fiskars. Part of it was made with things I found treasure hunting or bought used or new. It's all good. So, there you go. The FTC wants me to be clear about what was free to me. If you see a new product here on my blog, there's a good chance somebody gave it to me. I've met some amazing and generous people in this industry and I appreciate how lucky I am to be in the position to have to post this.

How neat - can you ask your sweet hubby to find me some classes in Upstate New York? Sounds like a lot of fun.

Lots of people in my Golden class earlier this month were ooohing and aweing over this expo.... It's supposed to be good. The teacher at the class I was in said she wouldn't be there this year, so a lot of people weren't going.. is that Halloween weekend..maybe I'll take a look.
How fun! If you go let me know how it is....I can only dream in my neck of the woods....we do not have any cool classes!
Each class sounds terrific! I'll be eager to hear which you decide to take. Any of them would be very appealing!
