Guy Cards
I had a card making spree this afternoon. Why does creativity come in fits and starts? It almost always hits me full on when my craft table is a huge mess and there's no room to create. I just push everything over and work in a tiny space, but you have to create when the mood is right. Stacy sent me these focal images this week for a virtual swap at the Stamp Shack. My job in this swap is to make the images into cards and post them for all to see. I like jobs like that so much better than jobs that require cleaning supplies!
I colored both images with zig & tombow markers. The fishing lures were then sprayed with walnut stain distressing spray. The fishing lure embellishment is one I picked up at Big Lots last year. I cut the tag from the inside of a security envelope...always recycle when I can. This card is also for my own color challenge this week. All of the neutrals are there, but the grey is hard to see. This is my dad's Father's Day card-can't believe I got it done early.
I love this year corvette. The key diecut is one I got in a swap, so I don't know who makes it. I love those keys... if anyone knows who makes that die, please leave me a message. The background paper on this one is by Basic Grey.
