KISS ROCKS!

We took our 12 year old son to his first rock concert last night. I've never seen KISS in concert and they were everything a great rock & roll concert should be....smoke, fire, pyrotechnics, blood, leather, platform shoes, big hair, and serious rock! The drum solo was the best I've ever heard. It was loud, the people there were a show in themselves, and I loved every minute of it. Watching my son cheer and rock out made my night. Of course today, I feel like I have been sick or have a hangover, but I'm not as young as I was when I went to rock concerts. You can read the songlist and the backstory to the concert on their website along with photos. It's worth a look, just for the giggles.

How fun... My DH and BIL have seen them so many times...

Did you miss seening Paul Stanley, who had to be taken to the hospital the other night... They say in the press that they had to go on stage with out him the first time... It is all over the press that his heart beat went to like 190 a min... I hope that you really had a grand time...

Of course our favorite song was...I want to rock and roll all night and party every day....! It was the grand finale song and they rose up over the stage on platforms. It was awesome.

Yes, this was the performance without Paul Stanley. Over an hour after they were supposed to start the band manager came out to announce it and then the remaining 3 band members did an amazing job with the concert. For some reason, they didn't pull the tab off my ticket, so I have an intact ticket to this sold out show. Maybe it will pay for college after an ebay auction....LOL!

Our family loves to watch Gene Simmons Family Jewels. That's so fun that you went to the concert as a family.

I was never a "Concert Girl" -- though I like the idea... but I was a fun mom (in the most responsible way) and I LOVE hearing about other fun moms who do fun things with their kids just for the joy and delight of it.

Rock On,
Jenny
